Jamaimoi left Paris for Lisbon to work as a freelancer, surf under the sun, mix on the beach and in the city’s natural wine bars. This dreamy combination gives a unique sound, close to Mézigue for the big kick and the powerfull way that he uses samples sometimes but with this warm and solar side borrowed from the Portuguese climate; a signature that he called “frenchghettotouch” characterized by the EP’s eponymous track. “Hardcore Definition” is a smooth mystical and trippy introduction to this rich universe then “This Girl Change My Morning Routine” with this beautiful 5 minutes R&B loop that he has redefined. The English producer Selfhood brings the title to Miami by presenting a definition of what he calls ghetto. Then it's the French master Matthieu Faubourg, author of the amazing track “Please, Stay” who reversed “Hardcore Defintion” with his subtle sample use that create an irresistible groove.
